CCTV Broadcasts Huainan during the National Day and Mid Autumn Festival Holiday

China Central Television (CCTV) broadcast Huainan, a famous historical and cultural city with a history of over a thousand years, on its News App and its news program Xinwen Lianbo during the past National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, which has been highly praised.

On the evening of October 1st, the CCTV “Shining China Red” converged media special program broadcast Shouxian County. Through a nearly 20-minute video connection called “Beautiful Night in China”, CCTV showcased the beautiful moonlit night in Shouxian County lit up by drone performance and the millennium-old city wall decorated by the modern technology of light and shadow.

On October 2, CCTV broadcast hundreds of artistic performance planned by Shouxian County during National Day holiday on its news program Xinwen Lianbo. Taige dance, an ancient folk dance performance -- in which the performers, usually boys and girls, stand high on plank platforms and other people carrying poles below parade on the streets, and the theater Hello Chunshen Lord were staged, making tourists amazed.

On October 7, CCTV broadcast the “torch playing on Mid Autumn Festival” in Shouxian County, a folk custom activity popular for thousands of years, on its news program Xinwen Lianbo.

The tourists prayed for blessings and expressed their best wishes for the future.

The image of Huainan was continuously shown on the CCTV platform, presenting a shining “cultural business card” to the national audience, allowing them to see the beauty of Huainan’s mountains and waters, perceive the new development of Huainan, and experience the kindness of Huainan’s people.
