Shouxian County: Strong Engine Fuels High-Quality Development

In 2025, as the “main battlefield” and “strong engine” for high-quality development in the county economy, Shouxian County fully advanced its high-quality development. The  economic strength of Shouxian County continued to rise. Anhui Hehuai Xinqiao Economic Development Area accelerated the construction. Supporting facilities such as commercial squares and talent apartments have been put into use. The backbone road network is under construction, significantly enhancing overall carrying capacity. The deep integration of industry and education has been achieved. Several universities have established industry-academia-research bases and Xinqiao Campuses of several universities will be completed or are under construction, which accelerates the realization of the "University Town" blueprint.

The construction of projects has been accelerated, and major projects such as Qingdaoyun Road and the second phase of NIO have been efficiently promoted, highlighting the industrial cluster effect.

The results of attracting investment have been fruitful. More than 12 billion yuan of funds from outside Anhui was attracted, with 39 new industrial enterprises above designated size added, and the added value and high-tech output value of industrial enterprises above designated size up by more than 20%. Shouxian County will continue to gather resources and adopt preferential policies to strive to build a pilot zone for the integration of Hefei and Huainan, and a demonstration zone for high-quality development.
